As a fresher, I've began the semester with a personal goal of surrounding myself with people who have positive mindsets and could contribute to my growth. Little did I know that many of the opportunities I was looking for were already within my reach at UWMF, a place of wisdom, knowledge, and growth. Academically, the semester exposed me to new programmes and practical learning experiences. I particularly enjoyed hands-on activities such as terminating Ethernet cables and creating web pages using HTML, which made learning more interactive and applicable to real-world situations. Research projects, group presentations, and field studies also helped connect classroom theory with practical community experiences. With improved library and online learning resources, I am confident that by the end of my three-year journey, I will have grown from a beginner in Information Technology into a skilled professional equipped to make a meaningful contribution to society.
